Biography
Nabil Al Attar works as a Banking Solution Division Supervisor at the Syrian Data Systems and he is specialised in Card processing and bank fund-payment and switching solutions which are based on Open Source Operating Systems. Nabil is a RedHat Certified Engineer and he holds the certificate of the Linux Professional Institute. He is also a core member in the Syrian GNU/Linux Users Group, and its website administrator. Nabil is the team leader of the development of GNU/Linux Syria distribution. He participated in the Open Source Software Workshop held in Damascus in 2004 with a paper titled: (Open Source Hardware Compatibility).
